Journeys in Uganda - Day 6

Today was an early 6am start to get on the Ferry to Buvama Island. Once we arrived we went to a location about 25miles away along the shores of Lake Victoria. One Child Global hopes to supply fishing cages so that the village and tribe and farm fish.

Next we headed to a One Child Global Hope Center where a handful of children are sponsored here.

Before we left we pumped up and distributed 20 footballs (soccer balls) The children were very excited.

The village priest and his wife host 100 children who have been abandoned by their parents. Hillary and Drake are our drivers.
